This Klimt silk scarf measures a generous 17" x 62" and is created in beautiful soft shades of color. Our art scarf makes a great Klimt gift idea for art enthusiast and fans of Gustav Klimt. This art scarf was inspired by Gustav Klimt's famous painting Church in Cassone (Landscape with Cypresses) while he was on holiday in Italy with his lover and muse Emilie Klöge in 1913. The picture postcard village on the edge of Lake Garda, with its dominating church and ramrod cypress trees, clearly caught the artist's eye, but the nearest point he could paint it from was too far away – so he used a telescope.
Our fine art scarves have hand rolled and sewn edges and are made of the finest Mulberry silk.
If you need special gift ideas for artist or just want an art gift for yourself, this Klimt art Scarf is really unique!
